Plato was Right!

Plato once said that the “aim of all education is to teach us to love beauty.” Travel can be a vital part of that education. When we explore the amazing mystery of our planet, we become connected, in harmony – and we learn to love its beauty. Through our photographs we can capture a few brief moments, share the moments with others and then invoke within us their emotions and feelings again and again. And more important we confirm for ourselves that we are not separate from our natural world; rather we are a closely-knit part, on a wonderful venture, and our Gaia is to be cherished, nurtured and never abused.

What a magnificent photo, Dick! How privileged you are to have been there
and how fortunate for us that you share your experiences with us.
